January 7, 2025 at 11:56 amWe stayed one night at the Clayton hotel nearby thanks for our flight being cancelled due to snow at Leeds Bradford airport, and we found this lovely pub while on our way from the bus. It’s a very large pub with lots of rooms, beautifully decorated and, most important thing, provides an awful batch of hand pulled casked ales (around 8 if I remember correctly, actual list is displayed on the chalk board next to the bar). They seem to have live events on a daily basis but not that night due to the snow. The staff is friendly, it made our unexpected night in Leeds very relaxing π

May 31, 2025 at 11:08 amBloody good pub, selling a large selection of very good real ales. Victorian interior clean and well kept. Visited as it was on my parents marriage cert as my dad’s address
In the late 1950s, he lodged here.
Live music. External seating.
Highly recommend.

June 30, 2025 at 11:55 pmThe Groove Inn Pub offers an excellent atmosphere that instantly welcomes you in. With tasty beer on tap and a relaxing vibe, itβs the perfect spot to unwind. The highlight is the live music that wraps up the evening, creating a motivating and friendly environment where strangers feel like old friends. A truly memorable place to spend your time!

July 18, 2025 at 9:54 pmReview for under 25βs. The music is mostly catered towards older people. But they have so much fun itβs great. Would only recommend for people under 27 (writing in 2025) if they like older music. But the service is amazing. They are all amazing.

August 24, 2025 at 5:53 pmA bit off the beaten track, just outside the city centre, this pub deserves all the praise it gets, great cask ales. Traditional, immaculately kept boozer.
Live music venue. Definitely worth a visit. π
