Atmosphere was ok, but as it was a Friday night it was busy and difficult to judge. I’m told it would be much more to my taste at quieter times so will be happy to go again to assess this.

The outside seating area was really busy with folks enjoying the summer.
I sat inside and the bar and was impressed with the selection of beers they have on tap – 20 available on keg and 2 cask when I visited.
I was warmly greeted by Beth, who was very knowledgeable about the beer on offer, and enjoyed chatting to her during my visit.
Don’t miss their beer fridge, tucked away in the corner, for a takeaway treat.

Good selection of beers and ngood amount of seating.
Be prepared to pay a good penny for the beer. Over £7 for a 3.9% cask ale.
