Can’t believe store still open. Seen rats running around car park. Door smashed and just leaning agaist frame for several days before fixed. Incredibly rude and ableist staff. I use a mobility scooter. I have had roll cages pushed into me, then shouted at when I cried out stop! Last time I visited, the same member of staff pushed one crate in front of me and then before I could get out another behind me. If you say anything they become nasty. The exceptions are a lovely young guy with an Afro who is always kind, and the regular security guard. Not surprised to see other review about ableism.
I have emailed customer service repeatedly and got poor response.
2 months have passed I visited last night around 9pm hoping I would have a better experience than above at a quieter time.
I was wrong.
I was stationary in my scooter looking at some products and a member of staff pushed a cage into me. If I had not been on my scooter my person would have been injured. Then I found I couldn’t access much of the shop on my mobility scooter due to abandoned cages.
Latest update Xmas 24 still abandoned cages left out blocking aisles.

Went in to get some bakery items this afternoon. It was quite busy around the bakery so I hung back for a few seconds which is when I noticed that not one, NOT EVEN ONE, person was using the tongs to pick up the items. 5 different people all grabbing multiple things with their hands. This wasn’t just 1 family of 5, it was 5 people that didn’t look like they came in together. Tongs were available but weren’t used. All of them prodding multiple items checking for crispness or texture, I don’t know, it was disgusting. This store isn’t my local store but I’ve been to many others and never seen this type of behaviour. There are signs up to use tongs but obviously no one cared. I left empty handed and disgusted.
