October 25, 2022 at 12:39 pmToday at 30th August 2022 i visited the Umrah Supermarket. The store inside is very tidy and clean. The prices are moderate not that much expensive as I heard. You can find loads of varieties. Easy to have your shopping under one roof. I do recommend it to all all my family members and friends. Thumbs up to admin!!!!

July 15, 2025 at 10:40 pm“These people sell expired products. I bought flour from them, trusting them because it’s a big and well-known store — I thought, how could they possibly sell expired items? So I trusted them and bought it. When I brought it home, I didn’t have a proper container to put the flour in, so I just opened the original bag from the top and kept using it, folding it over to close it after each use. But when it finally emptied, I turned the bag upside down to get the remaining flour out — that’s when I noticed the expiry date. It had expired in January 2025. My daughter and I had already consumed it. When I went back to the store, they told me the manager wasn’t there and asked me to come next Monday.”
“The girl at the counter told me the manager wasn’t available. But I saw her going back and forth to someone repeatedly, discussing the issue — I think that person was actually the manager. When I asked her directly, she said, ‘No, that’s not the manager, he’s just junior floor staff.’ Then another senior lady named Neena came and said, ‘Sorry, we can’t do anything. You’ll have to come on Monday.’
I told them to at least give me a receipt or some proof that I raised this issue, and that I would return on Monday when the manager is available. But she flatly refused. When they scanned the bag, they realized I really had purchased it from them — but still, they denied everything. She said there was no receipt, and told me to take the bag back and bring it again on Monday. She said they can’t do anything now.
Then the same guy — the one they were repeatedly going to — came to me and asked, ‘Where’s the flour now?’ I told him we had eaten it. He laughed and said, ‘Well then, what’s the issue now?’ and walked away rudely. There was no apology, no sense of shame or responsibility shown by anyone there.”
