January 15, 2025 at 11:17 pmI honestly never expected to eat so well in a small restaurant in a little-known street in Croydon. After leaving Gatwick airport, I searched on Google Maps for a Japanese restaurant near me that was open until 10pm, I found this one, I was very lucky. I made a big order because we were very hungry. I tried everything and I was very satisfied, especially the fried food. The place is small but well organized and clean, the service was excellent. Absolutely recommended.

March 28, 2025 at 10:05 pmAbsolutely delightful – husband doesn’t really ‘do’ sushi so Emi suggested some delicious meat dishes for him while I shared a set with my daughter – we got an amazing array of lush flavours, very fresh & well presented. Service was great too. So much food that we’ve taken some home & I’m already wishing for tomorrow so I can eat it, though it won’t be as good as sit down when it’s freshly prepared. Definitely a reason to eat out in Coulsdon & they’ve been here 6 years so if you haven’t been / GO!!!

May 28, 2025 at 11:11 pmThis sushi spot is fantastic! The soft shell crab is an absolute must crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. The service is top-notch too. The staff are super friendly, quick to help with recommendations, and always make sure you taken care. Everything comes out fast and fresh!

They served us completely raw chicken which they were apologetic about but unfortunately it was the first dish served so put us off. The sushi is supermarket quality at best, and the ribs, pork belly and beef were bland. Can’t believe I wasted £70 here! Would not go back, I cannot understand the good reviews. Service was okay but there is no atmosphere its too quiet.

August 27, 2025 at 8:21 pmThis is undoubtedly the best restaurant in Coulsdon, but also the best sushi I’ve ever had. I’ve been fortunate to eat sushi all over the world and I’m always blown away when I eat here. Outside of the sushi, the menu still excels in taste and execution. Each dish is presented beautifully and never fails to please me. The staff are very welcoming, warm and friendly, while still being very professional and never annoying.
I couldn’t recommend this place enough and wish them all the success as they truly deserve it!
