Lovely portion sizes and I was thrilled with the beautiful fish and home cooked chips . Highly recommend this place

The decorations on the ceiling are really nice, counter is well-presented too. I had a refreshing pint of Cruzcampo, sitting comfortably at a clean table!

June 6, 2025 at 7:18 pmI’ve popped in here a few times as I travel through Leeds and it’s consistently great. Lovely outdoor seating area (with heating options for those of us from warmer climes), decent wine and beers, local WiFi which is excellent for us solo travellers, and a pretty cool snicket to walk down in order to gain entry to the pub. Reasonably priced, attentive staff… it’s everything you need in a pub!

All lagers off except Sam Miguel which wasn’t a great pint. Only one cask ale on.
Bar staff served the drinks without saying a word from start to finish, just not a welcoming atmosphere at all. All the old photos of Leeds taken off the walls.
I’ve been here many times in the past and those experiences were a massive contrast to this one.
