August 22, 2021 at 10:06 pmNice place to shop… shocked that these were considered large avocados though. They are tiny… they tasted good though. And the variety of rum…😀😀 – never seen some of these before.

April 17, 2025 at 2:12 pmI’m visiting this aldi few times a week all staff are lovely but I’ve seen Kelly couple of times she’s always been rude with me I don’t why I feel like because I’m asian that’s why she’s treating like this to me only management needs to really look into it I feel embarrassed every time when I’ve served by Kelly no apologies no greeting so always been rude to me and always help other customers over me cause I’m asian is it the reason? But I never been angry I just came out with my embarrassed face 😞
Update
Date:17Apr (today)
Nothing changed shame on management I don’t know What’s wrong with Kelly I’ve forgot the past above and went there again fill half trolly with green vegetable, cream eggs & large Amount of chocolate I’ve seen potato for 0.08 pence so me & my grab about 7 8 bags as we’re big family of 9 people
Went to till again same lady we had issues before couple of times & turned up to us & grab very hardly half of potato bags from us without apologies or explanation when I’ve asked her she said 4 bags per customer is allowed I told her me & my wife is here so allowed to buy 8 is’nt it? She said doesn’t matter but you’re not allowed buy cause you’re together but the way she grab bags very heavely like we were bagging for them very very embarrassed again & again when Kelly is there she definitely have problem with asian I’m 100% sure this time because she always try to irritate me this is third or fourth time happens with me & today was first occation I loose my control and I was angry & swering this first time in my life when I was swering only because of her she forced me do that by doing same thing again & again later on it decided to not buying anything so I tried to get my trolly back to get my pound back but see what happens she took my trolly & said if you want your pound back you need go & put all stuffs back Seriously?
Even one other colluge was there he didn’t help eaither at the end I said no worries keep my pound with you and I exit
I raise the issues about kelly 6 months back I’m raising same thing again kelly needs to be replace from till area she don’t know how to talk to customers & always been angry at work not good at till area people are spending money to get their products they’re not thing away at free management needs to look at it & kelly needs to be replace from scan & go area to somewhere in my view
1st If is there any limit you should display at potato stand so this is mistake done by management as well
I raise the complain to head office and looking forward to meet manager next time when I go there & I’ll go and buy products everyday from the store as aldi not owned by kelly

June 4, 2025 at 9:13 amAldi on Aylestone Road, Leicester is a top spot for affordable shopping with a huge range of products. You’ll find fresh fruit and veg, British meats, sustainable fish, chilled and frozen foods, snacks, drinks, and a full food cupboard selection. There are also household essentials, baby and toddler items, pet care, and health & beauty products. The Specially Selected range offers premium options at great prices, and vegetarians and vegans are well catered for too.
One of the highlights is the famous middle aisle, where you’ll discover Aldi’s Specialbuys—seasonal bargains and limited-time deals on everything from homeware and kitchen gadgets to garden tools, toys, clothing, and even DIY supplies. These offers change regularly and often come with big discounts, so there’s always something new to grab.
The store is clean and well-organized, with friendly staff and self-checkout for a quick visit. There’s free parking, but no bakery or customer toilets. If you’re after value and variety, Aldi Aylestone Road delivers every time

August 18, 2025 at 11:16 pmUnfortunately I’m distressed and disappointed with thier customer service. My partner was buying 2 NON ALCOHOLIC ciders, while me and our 15 years old son were buying weekly shopping on another self-service till. The assistant (unfortunately I don’t know her name) behaved very agresively and unprofessional, she turned to me and our son and said “I need ID’S from ALL OF YOU”. Excuse me? since when I need to show my ID if my partner is buying, and since when my kid has to show his ID , while his father is buying non alcoholic cider using another till.
I was ready to make a big fuss about it, but it was nearly closing time and we were very tired after a long working day. I do regret I didn’t make a scene on the spot.
