September 5, 2022 at 10:46 pmBooked a table for 15 people for my daughter’s birthday. Booking process was easy thanks to the friendly Paige. Great selection of small plates and burgers. The lovely Manager Oillie greeted us as we got seated. Staff were patient with our group as we ordered separately which meant some of us forgot what we ordered! Haha. Everyone enjoyed the food! They ensured that we were looked after. My daughter and her friends had a great time. General vibe was warm and welcoming. Great for families and general customers. Definitely coming again on an adult night out to experience the night time vibe. Thanks guys!

July 22, 2025 at 9:54 pmOne of the loved drinking established in Leicester.
This is a recarnation of what was the Orange Tree.
This bar has events which you can check on their site or in their listings.
This bar has a spacious garden which ks well used in winter and summer.
Staff are always good and friendly.
They do serve food but I didn’t check that on this visit.
This has much nearby in other venues and restaurants.
Prices are good and they have happy hour and cocktails at decent prices.

July 30, 2025 at 7:23 pmVery nice pub, with great atmosphere and a large beer garden and pub is dog friendly. ( must be on the lead at all times though). Wish this pub was nearer to me.

August 12, 2025 at 3:43 pmI came in with my bother sister and 3yo on a Tuesday at 3pm with the intention of ordering cocktails and as soon as I asked for the cocktail
I wanted they asked if we wanted 5 free cocktails that they had just made (as training) and considering each cocktail cost 8.50ish we were positively surprised and really happy and ofcourse accepted the drinks and sat in the beer garden living life! Amazing service. 10/10 reccomend

August 25, 2025 at 12:27 pmI’d like to leave this review as constructive feedback to support the future of the establishment.
Yesterday, we experienced an awkward situation with what appeared to be the disabled access entrance and ramp. I was accompanying my uncle, who uses a wheelchair, and we entered through the door on the left, which has a flat entry and ramp leading towards the bar area. However, before reaching the bar we encountered a table with dog treats and a fruit machine, which completely blocked the passage. I even had to move one of the small coffee tables out of the way to get through. This forced my uncle to leave his wheelchair in order to pass – an uncomfortable and avoidable situation.
The barman clearly saw us struggling, yet instead of offering help, he announced that the building does not have disabled access because it is listed. This felt dismissive, and hard to believe given that the interior has clearly been developed. Even if structural changes aren’t possible, simply relocating the dog treats table and fruit machine would restore the accessibility that the space is already capable of offering.
I fully appreciate that not all venues can provide perfect accessibility, but in this case it feels as though functionality has been compromised for the sake of convenience. This didn’t create a very welcoming impression, which is a shame as the issue seems easy to resolve.
Unfortunately, our experience at the bar did not improve things. When my cousin – who is visiting from abroad – asked to try a cider (not being familiar with the drink), the barman responded, “It’s just a standard cider,” almost laughing in his face. When we insisted, he reluctantly fetched a taster with a huff, only for my cousin to then happily commit to a full pint. That small lack of courtesy left a sour note on what could otherwise have been an enjoyable visit.
Finally, I think it’s worth pointing out that the venue’s Google listing explicitly states that disabled access is available – which makes the reality we experienced even more disappointing.
