Their fresh ham salad cobs are amazing and worth a visit for them alone!

June 8, 2025 at 12:23 pmGreat proper Boozer with a large selection of beers.. Great Aspall cider and the best Ham salad and cheese and onion cobs. The pub is spotless and clean, with the best kept ladies toilets I have ever seen.

July 22, 2025 at 7:45 pmFantastic city centre pub. Beautiful and cozy inside with a real fireplace and traditional decor which is very nice. Pina colada cider given as a taster, was absolutely lovely, and I don’t even like cider! Lots of nice ales and cobs. Staff were very welcoming, and I would definitely recommend visiting this gem of a pub. 5 stars.

Really nice interior, 12 handpumps and varied selection at a good price. Good cheese and onion cob to keep us going. Definitely will be back.
