The Lancaster Arms

We came here as a family of 12 and hired out the private dining area for a 30th birthday. Karen was our server and she couldn’t do enough for us the entire time. She ensured we were all well fed and if we needed anything more she was there straight away.

The food was absolutely delicious, one of the best Sunday roasts we’ve all had for a while for both taste and variety. The beef was amazing, pink and tender. The sides were all delicious. And we loved the presentation of it all. The desserts were also all delicious.

We have all said we will be back!

Not the cheapest, £50 for a sharing platter.. most I’ve ever paid for a Sunday dinner, could of done with a bit more meat, unlimited roast, veg.
Plenty of staff, staff have got to be the best I’ve ever come across, they can’t do enough for you, friendly, asking if i wanted any top ups.
Honey glazed carrots should be in with the £50, shouldn’t cost extra in my opinion, £50 is a lot of money.
Lovely place though, they let you have a teaky tent if you book, these look perfect if you want some privacy, quite snuggly.
Dogs are aloud in these but in the restaurant bit, turret are aloud in the bar area.
No good outside in the conservatory area though I don’t think, they said we couldn’t sit out there and eat.
Lovely place to eat, but you will look at £60 £70 with drinks…
This place will have to be a treat for me rather than a regular visit, I only usually pay £12 each person lol
Staff are 100% though..
Music was a bit loud outside though, we had to move away from the speaker.

Absolutely amazing roast dinner here last Sunday. Really tasty, good value for money & friendly staff. We had the roast which comes with 2 choices of meat, huge Yorkshire pudding & bottomless veg + potatoes. Really good value for money & plenty of sides to chose from, definitely grab the cheese sauce as one of them.
