March 28, 2024 at 8:48 amWe’ve been here and sat in both the bistro and the restaurant and both were delicious. The haddock kedgeree was delicious! Able to cater to gluten-free/celiac too which was great. Restaurant felt very luxurious, though we did have a view of smokers but that’s not the end of the world.

May 14, 2025 at 9:22 pmVery, very good food here. Obviously all freshly made (waitress offered skinless cod if my dad wanted) and very tasty.
Between three of us we shared the vegetarian tart with salad. Amazing. Then the main courses arrived. They looked huge.
I can thoroughly recommend the steak, egg and chips with a green side salad. The steak was tasty and the sliced gherkins on the salad helped to cut through the rich meat.
Dad’s fish and chips hit the spot. In particular he commented that the mushy peas were tasty and stayed hot. Mum had fish pie which was very well presented and she enjoyed a lot.
I haven’t drunk a pint of Tiger for about 40-years, so that was a nice blast-from-the-past. Very smooth and just as I remember.
Friendly staff and plenty of parking.

August 19, 2025 at 6:02 pmThis was our 2nd visit and it was just as the first, the Food excellent the service was amazing attention to details and very attentive and the Restaurant atmosphere was just right.
We booked a table for 6 and we all had different meals and they all came out hot and delicious.
We will definitely be back again.
