July 4, 2023 at 6:34 amNeed attention by management!!
I recently visited Tesco London Road and had mixed experiences. While the store had its merits, such as its early opening hours at 6 am, I noticed a few areas that could use improvement.
One of the main issues I encountered was the frequent occurrence of empty shelves. It was disheartening to find several sections lacking the necessary products, thereby limiting my options and forcing me to look elsewhere for my shopping needs. This was particularly noticeable in certain popular and high-demand items.
Another problem was the timing of fresh bread. Despite Tesco opening at 6 am, the bakery seemed to be baking fresh bread by around 9 am. It would be more convenient if the bakery had its products ready earlier, allowing customers to purchase fresh bread throughout the morning, especially during the time when the store is open.
Moreover, a considerable challenge arose when the store was crowded. The shortage of goods on the shelves seemed to be supplemented during peak hours, possibly causing accessibility issues. Maneuvering through the store became a tedious task due to the congestion, creating a feeling of impeded progress and making it difficult to navigate freely.
To enhance the shopping experience at Tesco London Road, I would suggest the following improvements. Firstly, the management should work on replenishing the shelves promptly to ensure a broader range of stocked products. It would be helpful for customers to find everything they need without resorting to visiting other stores.
Secondly, the bakery should consider adjusting their baking schedule to prepare fresh bread earlier in the day. This would allow customers to enjoy the convenience of purchasing warm bread during the early morning hours, aligning with the store’s opening time.
Lastly, Tesco London Road should explore strategies to better manage peak hours and promote smooth flow within the store. This might involve rearranging displays or implementing crowd control measures to ensure customers can easily navigate the aisles, even during busy periods.
Overall, Tesco London Road has the potential to offer a pleasant shopping experience but currently falls short in meeting customer expectations when it comes to shelf availability and store organization. By addressing these issues, Tesco can become a more customer-friendly store that provides better convenience and accessibility to shoppers.

November 24, 2023 at 7:32 pmI am a law-abiding citizen that has been a victim of being followed by the security guard and staff. This has been going on for a year. I have never stolen in my life and yet I am being treated like a common criminal. I once used the self check out and because I left the store with my groceries in my hand, one of the team members shouted at me asking if I had paid. They stopped me from leaving the store and checked my machine and low and behold I paid! I have gone on to complain to Tesco because this behaviour should not be allowed. We shouldn’t feel harassed while we’re shopping. We haven’t done anything. All of this awful behaviour and the shelves are never stocked and staff is constantly running around getting in people’s way trying to replenish shelves. It’s already a cramped space. This is by far the worst Tesco is London and is severely mismanaged. There are very few staff that I would call helpful in this branch. You might as well use the Whitehorse Lane one which is bigger with a lovely security guard.
Hello Bia
June 9, 2024 at 12:52 pmThere seems to be a very rude new female security guard in place and I realise as security you are taught everyone is a suspect but her behaviour seemed oddly aggressive and ready to jump as you turn aisles or walk out of the shop near the security bars. She seems to be a racist hypervigilant and excited to be in such a small area to non-suspects , right next to me on the self checkouts was a strange and suspicious looking character but when i walked off with my goods the female security seemed to block my way and look in discernment but was very polite with the other character that was now standing in everyones way. This shows this “new” security guard isnt doing her job correctly. Now im a very loyal customer over 40years shopping in tescos this is appauling rude behaviour from a “new” security guard trying to imply im not welcome in her tescos, this has made me rather nervous going in there but i always have to shop there. Im quite sure she smokes near the tesco side delivery entrance as I recognised her , not a great image to portray ! Well let me tell you something madam I know you would be reading this your rude behaviour towards law abiding customers will not be tolerated when we all talk to the manager about you. Funny how no other security guards are like this except you.

March 20, 2025 at 10:07 pmMe and my small kids were in Tesco, they are 6 and 4 year. I asked the staff to enter my club card manually she didn’t enter properly 3 to 4 times. 3 people were in shop floor they didn’t help even manager also. One of the staff argued with me very badly and said we can’t enter your club card.after this argument my kids cried and depressed. Area manager have to take action. I got video proof if Tesco doesn’t take any action. I will put this video in social media.
