I went in last week, and I wished to pay for one item on the self checkout, and the other in cash. I paid for my item on the self checkout then went to the customer service assistant who was extremely rude, abrupt, and borderline aggressive, as he acussed me of not paying when I certainly had!
I felt humiliated, especially as he rung the bell and called over security, and being neurodivergent this made me feel extremely upset, anxious, and overwhelmed.
The disgusting customer service assistant retrieved the receipt out of the self checkout which proved I had paid! Trying to cover up the mistake, the customer service assistant snatched the receipt out of my hands, and wasn’t even going to apologise for his mistake!
Absolutely vile person, and you should be ashamed of yourself, especially trying to intimidate someone with a hidden disability!
Tesco need to hire competent staff who are trained in manners and customer service, and to not judge a book by its cover!
SHAME ON YOU!!!!

February 17, 2025 at 11:56 pmI visited this Tesco store to purchase a few items. However, the staff was nowhere to be found. I intended to pay by cash and had a few coins, but the cashier, named Paul, was visibly annoyed by my presence. He kept huffing and making rude remarks, which made me feel extremely embarrassed in front of other customers. Itβs clear that he needs better manners and additional training. Consequently, I wonβt be returning to this store.

May 27, 2025 at 9:52 pmStaff extremely rude.. A staff named akram refused sell me beers when i showed him my online e – visa validated by the uk government. I asked for the manager who said its okay and when i went back to the billing counter he refused to bill my order because he lost the case. I have never experienced such a terrible customer service in my life and i would like the responsible authorities to take note of this event.
