June 21, 2023 at 4:44 pmIt’s a decent place to go if you need some quick essentials prices aren’t too bad. But not ideal for weekly shop as it can end up quite expensive compared to other markets. Sometimes not enough people on the tills normally its only one member of staff and queues can build up. Counter to that they do have two self serve checkout that are 95% of the time working. Staff members are quite helpful and very polite.

January 10, 2025 at 6:16 pmThe security man today (10/01/2025) was extremely rude. He left his post at the door and came shouting at me, claiming I was blocking the way while I was on my phone. As if that was not enough, he shoved me aside with his bulky frame telling me he was the security and I should move out of the way, when I asked him why he was harassing me for doing nothing wrong. I’ve been shopping at this branch for nearly 10 years, but never have I been so disrespectfully treated by staff like I was today!

April 13, 2025 at 4:38 pmCompared to the other branch on London Road, there’s a lovely security with a durag who always greets you when you come in. It would’ve been 5 stars if the other security were also like this. However, I do appreciate that they don’t follow you around the store from aisle to aisle like on London Road and make you feel like you’re being watched. Instead, they remain at the door and do their jobs. I really appreciate that because I’m not anxious about being watched and can just do my shopping in peace.
