August 19, 2023 at 1:40 pmStore has had a refurb (presumably because of the rodent problem) but is still terribly managed. Stock on shelves out of date, prawn sandwiches displayed on unrefrigerated shelves (see picture). The place is a health hazard.

April 16, 2024 at 9:49 amMy experience at Tesco Express on Shirley Road was extremely disappointing. While browsing the alcohol section with friends, we were approached by the manager in an aggressive and disrespectful manner. Despite politely explaining that we were just browsing and willing to show ID at the till, he insisted on seeing it immediately and even questioned the validity of one of our IDs. He threatened to call the police and made derogatory remarks about our immigration status, causing us unnecessary distress. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, and it’s concerning that someone in a managerial position would treat customers in this way. I hope Tesco takes appropriate action to address this issue and ensures that all customers are treated with respect and dignity.”store manager who was saying you need to have id to look at alcohol

August 26, 2024 at 1:56 amso i had a pretty crappy experience at this store. the cashier didn’t put all my stuff in the bag and when i came back, he started yelling at me, saying they didn’t take anything. he was an older guy, so i felt bad arguing, but it sucks to pay for stuff and not get it. really not cool, hope they fix this so it doesn’t happen to anyone else
