March 17, 2018 at 10:39 amA local Sainsbury’s where you can find most of the essentials. Staff are good and friendly. They have limited range as this is a Sainsbury’s Local. It is located on Thornton Road. There is a small car park that customers can use. Time allowed is in the car park is 30 minutes.

September 3, 2023 at 12:15 amI m very glade that I meet a colleague named happy Patel in the store. She greet me with the smile every time. Today I went to buy milk but it’s not on the shelf so I ask her and she stop doing her work and bring milk for me. She also help another lady in finding something so she served her with same smile and humbleness. She is always smiling and it’s good to talk to her.

May 23, 2025 at 4:04 pmFirstly, I observed that several members of staff were speaking to each other in a language I believe to be Hindi while on the shop floor. While I completely respect cultural diversity and multilingualism, I believe it is more appropriate—especially in a customer-facing role—for communication among staff during work hours on the floor to be conducted in English, in line with inclusivity and professional workplace standards. This ensures all customers and team members feel included and aware of conversations taking place in public areas of the store.
Secondly, I encountered an issue with product pricing. The shelf label for the item I intended to purchase displayed a specific price, but at the till, I was charged a different amount. When I raised the issue, I was informed the shelf ticket was incorrect. According to UK trading standards and fair trading policies, customers are entitled to pay the price displayed at the point of sale. If a ticket is missing or incorrect, stores are expected to display a “ticket missing” badge or update it promptly to avoid misleading customers.
I trust Sainsbury’s values transparency, accurate pricing, and high customer service standards. I hope this matter will be looked into to ensure proper pricing practices are consistently followed and that team communication remains clear and professional while on the shop floor.
