Came here for the first time with my mum, a lovely small restaurant, was made to feel very welcome. We ordered a soup, lahmacun and a spinach pide. The food was amazing, and flavoursome. Our waitress was so polite and attentive – we’ll be coming to visit again! Highly recommend
Absolutely delicious! The lahmacun here is some of the best I’ve ever had—crispy, thin, and loaded with perfectly seasoned minced meat. Fresh parsley, lemon, and onion on the side made it even better. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick. You can tell they really care about quality. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Turkish flavors!
Incredible pide! The dough was perfectly baked—crispy on the edges and soft inside—and the fillings were generous and full of flavor. I tried the minced meat and cheese version, and it was absolutely spot-on. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff made
I revisited this place recently as have good memories of their food from a couple of years ago. I’ve tried their Turkish breakfast, pide, lentil soup and menemen. Not sure what has happened since then but this visit was not the same. The taste of the menemen wasn’t awful but the texture was coarse as the peppers hadn’t been chopped well and there wasn’t any sauce. It was really undercooked and not piping hot as it usually is and almost closer to an ezme salad. The presentation was a disappointment too as they put it in a plate!!! It looked so unappealing and I’d much rather have it in a bowl like usual. I find the bread basket smelled of mildew (these bannetons start to smell mouldy when washed over time – they aren’t really designed for food service but for proving bread so you don’t wash them but just dust off the flour) sadly the smell had transferred to the bread making it inedible and usually I devour all the bread I’m given. The final issue was that there was an overpowering smell of BO which was coming from the staff and made it difficult to enjoy the food at all.
Very delicious food and def reasonable prices
