August 5, 2025 at 12:45 pmI loved this place! The atmosphere was so fun. The drinks were delicious, food was very good. The schnitzel was a little dry, but that was the only complaint we had. Our waitress (I don’t know her name, she was very sweet and she told us she was Polish) was amazing! So funny and hospitable. We came in on a busy Saturday night without a reservation and they made space for us.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Maria served us and she was delightful.
The food was fantastic. I highly recommend the”Old Shades”.

August 22, 2025 at 6:23 amI have to deduct 1 star for food since it wasn’t quite as hot as it should have been, but otherwise no complaints. Friendly staff, good food quality and will come again for sure. They also squeezed us in with no booking which was great. Booking is advised, it’s popular! 🙂

August 24, 2025 at 1:13 pmWe stopped into Old Shades for a quick visit and to grab a bite to eat. It was super cool inside with the old architecture and decor. Ordered a few drinks the Sunday Roast and some Fish and Chips every thing was delicious and we had a good time
