Very friendly, local restaurant the atmosphere is very hospitable, they make you feel welcome like you are a guest in their house, tantuni (£4.50) is very nice if don’t know what it is it’s basically a Turkish street food wrap where traditionally it’s made from lamb minced and spices cooked in a oversized circular pan, they also do chicken, it is on the small side so you may have to order more than one. I also ordered homemade Ayran, which was very nice lightly salted (£3.50) and also ordered a kunafa (£8) which was very nice lots of cheese pull something to keep in mind it is a bit on the small side what is enough for two. Cash only

excellent tantuni, but the pickles served weren’t the freshest, and the place could use a bit of modern renovation.
Price wise, £5 wrap, and £10 for the sandwich is a little on the steep side tbh.
Their homemade ayran is also good.

Heard about this place on the grape vine and wanted a light meal which wouldn’t break the bank. I got the chicken tantuni and ayran. The tantuni was fresh and spicy and ayran really set it off nicely. The biggest plus point was the price £9. I would go back again. The area is run down and it’s not the most palatial place in the world, but it was just the right side of quirky and I was there for the food rather then wanting marble floors and velvet seats.

A local gem that is arguably better than Istanbul. The kunefe is divine — unlike other dessert shops they refuse to use only syrup but with other ingredients to enhance its taste. This creates a multi-layered taste that elevates kunefe to a new level. Will definitely come back again.

    A Hidden Gem – Neck Tantuni is a Must-Try!
We stumbled across this small, family-run spot and were absolutely blown away. The menu is small and intimate, which we loved—it gave us the perfect excuse to try every single dish. Everything was made fresh to order, and you can really taste the quality and care in every bite.

The prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality of food you’re getting. Just a heads-up: it’s a cash-only business, so make sure to bring some with you.

The staff were polite, warm, and incredibly attentive. It’s clear this is a family operation, and the love and pride they put into their food and service shines through. The ayran is made fresh and perfectly balanced, and the kunafe? Easily the best I’ve had in London—crisp, gooey, and unforgettable.

A true hidden gem. We’ll definitely be back!
