May 13, 2024 at 4:33 amAbsolute pleasure to shop in this branch. Very spacious looking from outside and even bigger looking inside. Filled with stock up to the roof and what is quite shocking, you can actually meet some staff members between the aisles who will be happy to assist you to find needed product or even take you the aisle to look for it with you.
Big parking to park easy with plenty of parking space

March 10, 2025 at 10:20 pmLidls don’t get better. Big as they typically come. Out of town centre enough so you can get to and from the place in a car. Car park is big enough if you avoid silly times of day/week. No evil car parking company desperate to take you to court if you forget to scan your receipt on your way out.
Staff morale seems very high, like they really care about customers and Lidl’s profit margins. Security guard seems personally saddened if you go in/out the wrong door.
They have either got very lucky with recruitment or are doing a very good job with people management. It’s not an easy location as customers are generally bad.
Jamaican/Carribbean accented man at checkouts is a massive asset to this place, and is basically why I’ve wasted time posting this review. He’s like the most naturally positive and tolerant human you’ll ever meet. If/when he leaves this place will get significantly worse.
Top tip if you do come on Saturday afternoon or anything foolish like that is to drive straight past the car park and down any nearby side road in Thornton Heath direction, because parking is free and easy nearby and the car park becomes a bad karma hell zone at these times with guaranteed shouting and threats of violence if you try to get in or out of it.

March 12, 2025 at 5:36 pmBig store, usually tidy and organised. Sometimes delivery hasn’t shown up or hasn’t been put on shelves if shelves are empty. Normally someone begging money outside.
