Rob was attentive kind caring couldnt do enough for us both.Downside was the salad bar was not very tidy and clean, stuff was missing until another customer asked for things to be replenished however it will not stop us from returning again.
Meal was value for money plus had a 25% off voucher.
Will definitely be returning to see the team again as soon as possible.

June 1, 2025 at 8:06 pmMy boyfriend took me for dinner and we had a really nice experience. Nice restaurant next to the canal, we colud go and sit outside after our meals. We had been served by Clinton and he was brilliant, checking on us if everything is okay, if the food is okay, he was very professional. We really appreciated his effort. We came here before and we will definitely come back in the future . Highly recommend the place if you are around.

June 1, 2025 at 8:10 pmClinton has been the most active hardworking professional in service. He has been up and down the restaurant ensuring every customer is satisfied with their food and drinks.
I came with my girlfriend which we both had Pork and steak skewers. Unfortunately, the steak was dry but Clinton came to our attention and resolved the matter immediately.
I will come again just because the service was great, Well done.David O

We visited the Navigation Inn for a bit of lunch at 12:20 PM and sat in the rear beer garden by the canal. Unfortunately, the area was in a very poor state. There was rubbish scattered around, cigarette butts everywhere, broken glass on the ground, and overflowing ashtrays — it was generally very dirty and clearly hadn’t been cleaned before opening.
This posed a serious safety risk, especially as my wife was wearing flip-flops and could easily have been injured by the glass. Due to the condition of the area, we decided to have one drink and leave.
Beyond the garden, the premises overall looked neglected — with rotting window frames, peeling paint, and tired decor. We have fond memories of this place, which makes this experience all the more disappointing. Sadly, we won’t be returning.

Even during a busy service, they stayed calm, efficient, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. It’s clear they take pride in their work. Great attitude, excellent service, and a big reason we’ll be coming back.
Highly recommend asking for them if you visit!
