April 24, 2025 at 8:44 pmTonight was our first visit to Ciao Bella and we weren’t disappointed. We were seated immediately, drinks & food arrived quickly, our meals were delicious. The atmosphere was great and the place was buzzing. All the staff were very nice and the bonus of having purchased a Groupon coupon made it a very enjoyable evening. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely time Ciao Bella.

We were escorted in like royalty, doted upon during the entire meal, and served up delicious pasta that nearly had me drooling as it was placed in front of me. I had some magical pesto-like concoction that was so flavourful and cooked to al dente perfection.

I booked Ciao Bella in Leeds via Groupon as a special treat for my partner to celebrate his first Father’s Day. I was pregnant at the time and mistakenly booked for 4 people instead of 2. We travelled a long distance with our 5-week-old baby, only to be turned away in the most rude and dismissive manner.
Despite the restaurant being completely empty, staff showed no empathy or flexibility. Instead of simply amending the booking to 2 people with a proportionate discount, we were refused service and told to leave. I have never experienced such appalling behaviour in a hospitality setting.
It’s absurd to assume that 2 people automatically spend less than 4 – especially on a special occasion. Two guests could easily order a full three-course meal with drinks, yet we were treated like an inconvenience. The attitude was shocking – cold, unwelcoming, and utterly unprofessional.
If you value respectful service and a welcoming atmosphere, I strongly urge you to avoid this place. We were left disappointed, humiliated, and upset on what was meant to be a joyful day.
Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.

The presentation was beautiful, the atmosphere warm and inviting, and the service friendly and attentive. Definitely a place worth coming back to.
