June 30, 2025 at 12:34 pmThey do a rollback program which allows you to buy things cheaper than other major supermarkets.
Clean store with lots of choice. They do have a separate section for George and there is an Amazon counter to send return parcels.
McDonald’s and Timpson ASDA optical, pharmacy, photo studio service, fresh bakery products, plenty of parking space with petrol filling station

July 23, 2025 at 4:03 pmMixed reviews for this store for the reasons below.
I have been here a few times and the selection varies. I think itโs great that there are clothes, however the selection is not that big and there are usually only bigger sizes for women. There are a reasonable amount of childrenโs clothes and I have got some good offers before.
There is a wide range of food as well as baby items. I like that there is a good range of non dairy items, however I could not see any ice-cream which is disappointing.
There are also restaurants which are good, however I have never been so cannot comment on whether they are good. I think itโs great that they are available to shoppers.
The self-service is good as I have used this many times without issues.
My disappointment is with the click and collect – so frustrating having to wait so long and sometimes I am only going to the store for this reason so it ends up feeling like a long wait. I have been told they have to go quite far but I think in this instance there should be note informing customers. This is not the stores fault but sometimes orders come in multiple parcels making it hard to carry or even use a trolley to take it back to the car. Staff do not offer to help.
There are a reasonable amount of parking bays however lots of people without children and without a disabled badge park in the parent and child spaces. Very frustrating when the space is necessary for families. The electric charging bays do not work

August 20, 2025 at 5:14 pmNice and clean environment. Lots of variety of items, foods, (even items that cannot be purchased in other supermarkets, which is brilliant!), clothing, homeware…etc…good customer service. Value for money. Well recommended. Thank you. Linda ๐

August 25, 2025 at 10:11 pmThis review is for the opticians. I went into the store for a new pair of glasses, taking my own frames in. The turn-around was quick and I collected them. They didn’t feel right ( I have been wearing glasses for a long time) and I went back after a couple of days to complain. I was asked to wear them for another couple of weeks which I did and I still found them uncomfortable. I returned to the store and was fortunate to be attended to by Leo. He acknowledged my concerns and made the right corrections. The glasses were sent off and I collected them a few days ago. They are comfortable and I can see!!
Thank you Leo for validating my concerns and for your help.

August 27, 2025 at 2:42 pmAsda Wallington is now (again) a great store. After losing my custom when it stopped cheap petrol (and when it used to ‘drive’ the whole gas station market) it has redeemed itself – almost.
It’s a great feature as a pick-up location where it is convenient to scan your QR code at the collection machine. Although the arrival of your goods could be quicker – it’s at least efficient otherwise, as you’d be in a ‘customer services’ queue.
So now competitive prices again and clothing plus a click and collect point with petrol fill up! However petrol is only cheaper if you fill and shop. Otherwise petrol locally is cheaper – much cheaper.
Maybe with the new CEO it will become a compelling market leader again!
