ALDI

Can only afford to give two stars after today’s experience of queuing for almost 15mins! After work rush means shops are usually busy and they had only two check-outs opened. Also they don’t have sef serving check outs. I kind of regretted going there. I could have been out in 10 if i had gone to Lidl which is only next door.

Now the positives, i like this place, well stocked, good variety of fruit and veg, also nice flowers and plants.

But they need to do better, after work 7pm where people are tired and they want to just do a quick shop and get out, they don’t want to wait around. When I ask the cashier he told me it had to do with budget cuts.

Had a great experience in the store Thursday 22nd. I have only ever been to an Aldi once before but saw garden pot stands on wheels advertised. Didn’t think I’d be lucky enough to get some but I was. The guy managing the self self tills area was fantastic. Very personable, friendly, helpful and professional. I did need his help as I’m unfamiliar with the tills there. He was very happy to help and was very efficient. My disabled friend uses a wheelchair and she found him very pleasant too. He certainly is a credit to the store.

some of their own brand foods taste bland. Generally speaking they are reasonably priced. similar to Lidl. The one thing I do like is that their incontinence pads are excellent value and just as good as the leading brand. Lot of free parking Inc electric vehicles. Very clean inside. Friendly staff
