May 6, 2025 at 9:39 pmCame here every morning for 2 weeks for a coffee. The blends are delicious and even when it’s busy, it feels very welcoming. Ben was really helpful, when we were selecting some coffee to take home, and ground it for our moka pot. Thanks to Ben and unflappable Rachel for the good vibe and great coffee.

May 28, 2025 at 2:16 pmStumbled across this fab little coffee shop today. Really lovely staff, great coffee, and a very tasty croissant! Sat on one of the bar stools at the window and watched the world go by. Highly recommended.

May 29, 2025 at 9:49 amConsistently good cafe serving their own roasted alchemy coffee. Great flat white and latte with bonsoy alternative. Range of fresh pastries and filled croissants plus Aussie options (fresh lamingtons, Shapes, TimTams etc). Popular spot in the area with those that know they’re coffee so often a bit of a wait at peak morning times. A few stools by the window but best for takeaway

June 25, 2025 at 5:14 pmAlchemy Cafe is one of those rare places where everything just works. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by the warm, inviting atmosphere — a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort.
The service? Absolutely impeccable. The staff were not only attentive and friendly but seemed genuinely passionate about what they do. They took time to explain the menu, offer recommendations, and made sure I felt looked after throughout.
Now let’s talk food and drinks — truly outstanding. Every bite was a burst of fresh, vibrant flavour. You can taste the quality ingredients and the care put into each dish. The coffee was brewed to perfection — smooth, rich, and aromatic — easily one of the best I’ve had in the city.
What really stood out, though, was the ambience. Whether you’re there for a quiet solo coffee, a casual meeting, or just to escape the hustle of the day, Alchemy Cafe strikes the perfect balance between relaxing and energising.
In a world full of average coffee spots, Alchemy Cafe is a shining example of what a great cafe should be — thoughtful, soulful, and deliciously memorable. I’ll definitely be returning (and bringing friends along next time!).
Things I Tried
August 24, 2025 at 6:14 pmI tried two batch brews here, Indian and Kenyan. Unfortunately, the Indian had no flavor at all, while the Kenyan was just okay. Honestly, I expected much better.
The staff weren’t very friendly, which was also disappointing. This spot has been on my list for a while, but I don’t think I’ll be coming back.
