I ordered a well-done sushi set and a regular-sized mango bubble tea with lychee popping balls. I was quite surprised to find that the bubble tea cost £6.25 – something I only realised after I had already paid.
Unfortunately, the drink was extremely disappointing. It tasted quite literally like water (had already walked a distance so could not go back) and the popping balls had a very plasticky texture. It was so bad that I had to throw it away after just a few sips (photo attached).
I wouldn’t recommend their drinks based on this experience, though their sushi is decent
Goodness gracious I had a spicy chicken noodle soup and it was sooo delicious. I’ve been in Croydon for ages, and can’t believe I never ate there before! Will definitely come again next lunch. Also the place is clean and the kind gentleman served me my food. Great place.
I had a great time in Iro Sushi Croydon with my friends. The service was impeccable and the food was very tasty. Moses was a lovely server and always made sure that we were OK. Will definitely come back!
Had a lovely time at Iro Sushi with my friends. The food tasted great and the music had us doing our own karaoke session. A special mention to Moses for his service! Will definitely come again
The temaki was a disgrace, finger tip like amount of some weird crab meat that had a stringy consistency, outer wrapping seaweed was like a hard rubbery plastic texture – couldn’t even take a bite from it, had to chew and rip it away to get a piece (inedible) was like chewing gum in my mouth, spat out of course. Other rolls not so bad but £42 for 18 pieces – daylight robbery…
